For owner-led teams whose best people are buried in busywork.

Your team isn't slow. Your systems are.

We find where your operation wastes time, then fix it with systems you own and automations we run. You keep the systems for good. We keep them firing.

We automate
  • Built inside the tools you already use
  • You own every system we build
  • See where your time goes, even if you don't hire us

How it actually works

Here's what we actually do.

Most people think "using AI" means opening ChatGPT and copy-pasting. That's not it. Real automation means the work is already done before you sit down. One real example:

  1. 01

A new client books an appointment.

  2. 02

They instantly get a confirmation, a calendar invite, and an intake form.

  3. 03

A reminder goes out the day before, on its own.

  4. 04

After the session, a follow-up and a review request send themselves.

  5. 05

You did none of it. You showed up and did your work.

Now multiply that across every repeating task in your week. That's the time we hand back to you.

What it actually costs

If this sounds like your week,
you're not alone.

  1. Half your week goes to work nobody pays you for.

It's not that you're inefficient. Every new client brings a stack of follow-ups, invoices, and status updates. The better business gets, the more time disappears into work nobody sees, and nobody pays for.

  2. You're not running out of customers. You're running out of week.

The pipeline's full. The inbox is full. Everyone says "just hire someone," which means weeks of recruiting, months of training, and a salary you're not sure the business can carry yet. So you don't. And the bottleneck stays exactly where it was: in your hours.

  3. Opening ChatGPT isn't AI integration.

If the AI needs you to copy and paste, it's just a fancy search bar. Real AI is invisible. Already done by the time you sit down. You don't open it. You don't prompt it. It just runs.

It could be the best client of your year. It could be nothing. Either way, it can't wait.

What we do

We don't just automate.
We rebuild the operation, and hand it to you.

Most agencies rent you a system and keep the keys. We do the opposite. We go inside the business, find where the hours leak, and fix the operation itself: some of it automated, the rest handed over as better systems you own for good.

One-time · yours forever

The transformation you own.

We map the repeating work in your business, kill the time waste, and rebuild how the work actually gets done: unified templates, documented processes, and custom systems and dashboards. Built inside the tools you already use, so there's no migration and nothing new for your team to learn. Then we hand all of it over. You own it for good, no retainer required for this part.

Recurring · we keep it alive

The automation support.

The automations we build need a home and a caretaker. We host them, monitor them, and fix them the moment something breaks, usually before you notice. Every quarter we re-audit the operation to find the next leak as you grow. You own the systems. You pay us to keep the machine running.

How it works

Audit. Build. Run.

Zero surprises. You approve at every step. You own the build. We keep it running.

  1. The audit

It starts with a free call. If we're a fit, we run a full Time Audit: we map every workflow eating your week, rank them by hours lost, and hand back a concrete plan of what we'll automate and what we'll hand you as a better system. You keep the plan either way.

  2. The build, yours forever

We rebuild the workflow, unify the templates, document the processes, and build the systems and dashboards, inside the tools you already use. No migration. No "phase 2" surprise invoice. Then we hand all of it over. You own it for good.

  3. The retainer

Your systems go live. We host and maintain every automation, fix exceptions before you ever see them, and re-audit each quarter to keep finding you time as the business grows.

Case study

A whole school ran
out of one inbox.

Enrollment, attendance, monthly fees, certificates and the accountant. All of it lived in a single Gmail account, a stack of paper, and the memory of the two people holding it together. We rebuilt the operation underneath them.

Escola de Biodanza Porto A professional facilitator training based on the System of Rolando Toro. Thirty modules, one weekend a month, with each class staying together for three years.
Before

Paper, photographed, emailed.

  • A paper register passed around the room, signed once on Saturday and again on Sunday.
  • Photographed on a phone and emailed in as an attachment, then retyped by hand.
  • Fees tracked on a handwritten sheet, names and amounts down one page.
  • Twenty-odd Gmail labels doing the job of a database. Over a hundred threads in the coordination label alone.
  • Coordination arriving as prose, one person told in an email which records to go and check by hand.
After

The month runs itself.

  1. 1st · 06:00Every active student billed, priced individually
  2. 8th · 06:00Unpaid students reminded, status flipped
  3. 15th · 06:00Still unpaid escalated to the director, by name
  4. 15th · 08:00Checks the weekend's attendance actually arrived
  5. 20th · 08:00Certificates prepared for everyone who attended both days
  6. 25th · 09:00Warns if next month has no module scheduled
  7. Every 10 minNew sign-ups become students, welcome and milestone emails go out
  8. Daily · 07:30One digest of anything that genuinely needs a human

The accountant reports payments by email and the system files them. Absent students get asked what happened. Nobody on staff opens the database. That was the point.

8 hours
a week

handed back to the two people holding the school together.

A full working day. Every week. It used to go on retyping attendance off a phone photo, chasing fees one message at a time, and rebuilding the same lists somebody already made last month. Now nobody has to remember to save it.

32 automations built
25 running right now
14 emails that write themselves
0 spreadsheets the staff touch
The work still gets done. The weekend still gets recorded, the fees still get chased, the certificates still go out. It just stopped being anybody's Sunday evening.
Founding clients · early advantage

Being early is the advantage.

We're taking on a small number of founding clients while we build out our public case studies. Being early is the advantage: you get our full attention, a direct line to the two people actually building it, founding pricing, and a system shaped around your business, not a template. The trade-off is honest: you're early, so we over-deliver to earn the case study.

The guarantee

Our promise.

If we build an automation and it doesn't save you the time we agreed on, we keep working on it until it does, at no extra cost. You're never stuck paying for something that isn't pulling its weight. And you'll always see the full plan, the scope, and the price before any work starts. No surprise invoices, ever.

Diana & Marcel, Nonstrain

The two of us

Two owners.
No account managers.

Nonstrain is the two of us, and it stays that way on purpose. The people who map your operation are the people who build it, on every call, from the first audit to the handover.

Diana Pinto

PTESEN

Diana co-owns Nonstrain and finds the time. Her specialty is the invisible work, the tasks that never appear in a process doc but quietly eat half the week. She maps how work actually moves through a business, then decides what gets automated and what simply needs a better system. If your team is “just busy” but always behind, Diana finds the why.

Marcel Marti

DEEN

Marcel co-owns Nonstrain and builds the systems. He takes the version of your workflow that lives in someone’s head, or in a spreadsheet nobody trusts, and turns it into automations and dashboards that run without anyone watching them. He owns the technical half: the integrations, the builds, and the parts that still have to work at 2am.

marcel.marti@nonstrain.com

How this started

Nonstrain began with a training school in Porto. It ran on disconnected spreadsheets nobody maintained, and the admin was slowly swallowing people who should have been teaching. We rebuilt the operation from the intake form up.

That build taught us the pattern we now look for everywhere. The problem was never the team, and it was never the tools. It was the handoffs in between: the work that belonged to nobody, so it landed on whoever noticed it last. Fix those, and a small team stops drowning.

We started Nonstrain to do that for other companies, and we kept it to the two of us so the people who find the problem are the people who fix it.
